UCSC Girls Who Code College Loops welcomes all women and non-binary genders interested in technology to participate. Members do not have to be pursuing engineering majors or even have any experience coding.
Girls Who Code aims to provide a safe space to discuss personal topics that women in technology face which may be hard to discuss in a typical college setting or among a group of friends. Along with discussion circles, club meetings also help students prepare for both behavioral and technical interviews.
The Girls Who Code parent organization provides a lot of resources that members can utilize such as interview preparation guides, project management tools and access to alumni events which include networking events hosted by companies such as Dell, Microsoft, Walmart, and P&G.
